There was excitement last week, when the BBC came to our studios to record us during our ‘Cruising with the stars’ recording day. They are making three, one hour programmes for BBC2 which look at the role of agents in showbiz, comedians, and how cruise ships are becoming “the” new venue for artistes of all kinds. They did a short interview with me exploring the role of comedy within a variety show. We had a great day, and an added bonus was meeting Pete and Mike again, both of whom I worked with years ago on both BBC and Granada television.
Another venture was launched by the company too. We now offer presenter training, and had our first training day recently during which I think we found a lovely new presenter of the future! We all had a great day, lots of fun, and a lot was learned, from how to use autocue to how to conduct an interview. If you read this and want to know more, contact Richard Cross on 0151 257 6340 or email [email protected]
Don’t forget, if you want to email me it’s always good to hear from you.
Bye for now
